Jean A. Caldwell

Salem - Jean A. Caldwell, 78, of Salem, formerly of Columbiana, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Courtyard at Lexington.

Jean was born February 6, 1939 in Salem, a twin and the daughter of the late Curtis and Erma Meek Rapp.

She worked as a receptionist with Donnell Ford of Boardman.

Jean was preceded in death on November 4, 1993, by her husband Dewey H. Cadwell, Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Rick) Schmidt of Columbiana; three sons, Todd Gleckler of Scioto, Tyler Gleckler of Salem and Dewey H. Caldwell III of Leetonia; a step daughter, Deb (Allen) Smith of Alliance; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Stewart, and Jane Dodson; and a brother, Donald Rapp.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Columbiana Cemetery.
