Jacksonville, FL - Jean Eilene Brooks, 53, died Monday October 1, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL.
Jean was born June 25, 1959 in Paducah, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Harry Edward and Annabelle Andrews Broadway. She has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1986, and was the owner and operator of Brooks Bookkeeping and Tax Service.
Jean is survived by her husband, Franklyn Brooks; daughter, Kimberly Ann Koepke (Navadia Grace and Joseph Sebastian) of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Michael Edward Brooks (Angel Mariana and Abigail Dawn) of Virginia Beach, VA and Timothy Scott Brooks of Jacksonville, FL; a step-son, Charles Allen Brooks (Kayla Diane, Joseph Allen and Hailey Brianna) of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Sally Ann VanDeventer of Copperas Cove, TX; a brother, Russell Elmer Broadway, of Copperas Cove, TX.
Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia on Monday, October 8, 2012, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Oakdale Cemetery Chapel, Leetonia, with Pastor Ashley McMillin officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
