Janice L. Mcginnis

Columbiana December 9, 2006 -Janice Louise McGinnis, age 72, of 628 West Southern Avenue died at 3:55 p.m. Saturday in the Salem Community Hospital.

She was born April 28, 1934 in Youngstown, daughter of Charles and Myrtle Mae Long Hall, had lived in Leetonia for 25 years and the last 37 years in Columbiana.

Mrs. McGinnis had been a secretary for the San Mateo Welfare Department and then for Hunt Valve Co in Salem.

She graduated from the Leetonia High School in 1952.

Surviving are her husband, J. L. McGinnis whom she married November 14, 1958; two sisters, Donna Mae Fieldhouse of Salem and Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Montgomery of Columbiana; two step daughters, Terri Terrell of Ocilla GA and Janet Jones of Muldrow OK; and a step granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur and Darrell Hall.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Cool Springs Cemetery with the Reverend Joanne Dota officiating. Burial will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery.

There are no callings hours.
