Janice Gettig

Millersburg, OH - July 2, 2009 - Janice Gettig, 87, of 105 Majora Lane, formerly of Columbiana, died Thursday morning at the Majora Lane Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gettig was born August 16, 1921 in New Castle, PA, the daughter of the late John H. and Helen Roller Carroll and lived in Millersburg since 1999, coming from Columbiana. She was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Room Fellowship in Columbiana.

She is survived by a son, Gene Gettig of Rockford, IL; a sister, June Daykin of Conneaut, OH; and two grandchildren, Amber and Zack Gettig.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Chuck Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Boardman. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services Monday.
