Janet L. Urmson

Columbiana - Janet L. Urmson, age 82, of Columbiana, died on Friday, June 26, 2026, at The Inn at Old Saybrook, Columbiana.

She was born on May 16, 1944, in Salem, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ellen Ockerman Davis.

Janet was a 1962 graduate of Columbiana High School and a 1966 graduate of The Ohio State University. She had worked as a bookkeeper for M.E. Supply. She was a past member of Greenford Christian Church and recently attended Old North Church, Canfield. Janet enjoyed reading and going on trips to Las Vegas.

Janet is survived by her two daughters, Terri (Joe) Martin of Westlake and Nancy Trevena of Youngstown; son, Brian (Melissa) Urmson of Columbiana; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Alex, James, Eric, Dennis, Chylynn, William, Che', Braden, and Lillian; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Sullivan, and her Uncle Bill and Aunt Edna Davis.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Columbiana Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Rick Enlow officiating.

Burial will take place at Columbiana Cemetery.
