Leetonia - Janet A. Kleinknecht, 70, of 376 Anglemyer Street, died at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Mrs. Kleinknecht was born May 11, 1943 in Salem a daughter of the late Cecil Crothers, her adopted father and Leona Bishop Campbell.

She was a homemaker and worked with her husband at the former Kleinknecht Sohio for 28 years. She enjoyed tending her flower bed and spending time with her family and enjoyed a special relationship with her dog, Dozer Marie. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Kleinknecht, whom she married May 16, 1964; four daughters, Lisa Kleinknecht of the home, Mindy (Eric) VanHorn, Robin (Bob) VanHorn, and Bobbi Blackman, all of Leetonia; a son, Mike (Becky) Kleinknecht of Lisbon; two sisters, Sally (Gary) Winterburn and Jeanie (Brian) Birmingham; a brother, Rich Veon; a sister in law, Diana Crothers; ten grandchildren, Krysti (Jesse), Justin (Marissa), Randy, Hope, Michaela, Jordan, Zachery, Eric, Alyssa, and Haylee; and a great granddaughter, Justina. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Lee Dickey and Sandy Graham; her twin brother, James Crothers and her brother, Jack Veon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. on Friday.
