Janet Lynn (Dressel) Slagle

Leetonia - Janet Lynn Slagle, age 56, of Leetonia, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

She was born on February 27, 1968, in Salem, daughter of Richard and Heidemarie Volland Dressel.

Janet had worked as an apartment manager with Briargate Apartments in Salem and Meadowview apartments in East Palestine. She dearly loved her cats and her horses, and riding motorcycles with her husband.

Janet is survived by her husband of 30 years, Edward Slagle; a daughter, Nikki Slagle of Columbus; three sons, Jerrid Kotsch of Leetonia, Timm (Laura) Slagle of Columbus and Vance (Chassidy Hunt) Slagle of Columbus; seven grandchildren; a sister, Corina (Steve) Wellman of Columbiana; as well as her father, Richard Dressel of Columbiana.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Heidemarie Dressel and a daughter-in-law, Amanda Slagle.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
