Jane E. Dannels, 100, formerly of Enon Valley, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Crossroads At Beaver Creek, East Liverpool.
Mrs. Dannels was born February 2, 1926 in Enon Valley, PA, the daughter of the late George and Marian Conway Duncan and had lived in the area most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a member of United Presbyterian Church of Enon Valley. She had also been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. (Charles) Scott of Beaver Falls, PA; two sons, Edward W. (Kathy) Dannels of Lebanon, PA, and Fredrick (Mary Jo) Dannels of Breezewood, PA; four grandchildren, Kelly, Jared, Lindsey, and Benjamin; and two great grandchildren, Ethan and James.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Dannels, whom she married January 19, 1947 and a grandson, Jacob.
Services will be held at Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Paul Iden officiating. Interment be in the Little Beaver Cemetery, Enon Valley, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH.
