James F. Engle

Negley-October 31, 2009- James F. Engle, 73, of 47813 Tomahawk Drive, died suddenly at 2:50 p.m. Saturday at his home.

Mr. Engle was born April 13, 1936 in Massillon, a son of Marling and Gladys Schandel Engle and had live in this area for the past 30 years coming from Anchorage, Alaska.

Jim was an air traffic controller and was meritoriously retired from the US Department of Transportation after working for various airports including San Francisco and Anchorage International Airport. He was a member of Rogers Assembly of God and served in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel E. Aho; two step daughters, Alice Hall of Columbiana and Judy (Richard) Hayes of Wasilla, Alaska; two step sons, Gary (Bobbie) Isabelle of Chester WV and Delido (Mary Sue) Isabelle of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Mariellen Zaleski of Dalton and Annabelle Weber of Navarre; two brothers, Tony Engle of Canton and Mark Engle of Navarre.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Reverend Paul Wright officiating. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
