James A. Culp

Salem - James A. Culp, age 84, of Salem, died on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.

He was born on September 2, 1940, in Columbiana, a son of the late Raymond and Esther Calvin Culp.

James had worked as a dispatcher for NRM in Columbiana and was an avid sports fan.

His wife, Bonnie Brown Culp, whom he married on July 24, 1965, preceded him in death on, November 3, 2019. Also preceding him were his three sons, infant boy, Sean and Scott Culp; two brothers, Raymond Jr., and Willam Culp, and by a sister, Charlotte Macklin.

James is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

James will be buried with his wife and three sons at Zion Hill Cemetery, Columbiana.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
