Jacqueline "Jacquie" (Cope) Whitehead

East Palestine - Jacqueline “Jacquie” Whitehead, 82, of East Palestine, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Covington Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, East Palestine.

Jacqueline was born on May 13, 1942, in East Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Earl and Ida Kallio Cope.

Jacquie had worked for Insul Company, All-Brite and Brittain Motors Chevrolet throughout the years and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Chaplow and Clark Whitehead.

Jacqueline is survived by her two daughters, Cyndi (Lance) Peterson of East Palestine and Marta (David) Rankin of Ravenna; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Ron) Kelvington of East Palestine; a son, Jason Whitehead of East Palestine; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Fannin of East Liverpool.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Chaplow and a sister, Jo-Ann Cope.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral, East Palestine with Chaplin Matt Doerle officiating.

Burial was in Glenview Cemetery.
