Jack E. Sanders

Columbiana - Jack E. Sanders, 73, of 729 Fairfield School Road, died at 10 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, Columbiana.

Mr. Sanders was born May 26, 1937 in Washingtonville, a son of the late John and Norene Mellot Sanders.

Jack had worked for the George J. Howe Company for 29 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Washingtonville.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Joyce A. Mollenkopf, whom he married June 8, 1958; two daughters, Tami (Byron) Woods of Alvin, TX and Bonnie (Thomas) Oliver of New Waterford; a son, Timothy (Nancy) Sanders of Columbiana; two sisters, Jill Toot and Sue Kinirons both of Salem; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A sister, Judy Kennedy preceded him in death.

Private funeral services will be held at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home of Columbiana with Pastor William Medford officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery.
