Columbiana - Jack W. Kuhlman, 59, of 366 South Main Street, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at his home following a seven month illness.
Mr. Kuhlman was born May 30, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of the late Jack D. and Grace Rummel Kuhlman and had lived in Columbiana all of his life.
He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Waterford, and the Potter's Camp. He had been employed at Columbiana Pump and later Col-Pump for 33 years and had been employed as an alloy sampler for McCreath Labs the past five years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Rachel L. Stacy, whom he married December 12, 1970; a daughter, Stacy Lynne (Sid) Villines of Bedford, KY; two sons, Patrick William (Denise) Kuhlman and Chad Donald (Sara) Kuhlman, both of Columbiana; a brother, Craig Kuhlman of Columbiana; and seven grandchildren, Justin, Robert, Charity, Cora, Ellena, Jack, and Lucas.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Sean Myers officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Jerusalem Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Relay for Life.
