Irma Dukats

Columbiana - Irma Dukats, 87, of 44701 Heck Road, died at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her home of complications of Parkinson's disease and cancer.

Mrs. Dukats was born March 20, 1923 in Riga, Latvia, a daughter of Rudolf and Elsa Gorgon Ziedins. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Hill Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her husband, Fricis Dukats; a daughter, Indra Dukats of Columbiana; three sons, Aivars Dukats of East Palestine, Edward Dukats of Denver, NC, and Raymond Dukats of Columbiana; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
