Ina Mae Noel

Columbiana February 20, 2005 -Ina Mae Noel, age 81, of 226 Village Court died at 10:57 a.m. Sunday at her residence.

She was born September 14, 1923 in Unity Township, daughter of Coll and Lois Crook Schmidt had lived in the Columbiana New Waterford area all of her life.

Mrs. Noel had been a hairdresser in East Palestine and then her own shop in Columbiana for many years. She was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church and a former member of Columbiana Rose Society.

Her husband, Richard Noel whom she married July 20, 1946, preceded her in death on March 28, 2000.

She is survived two sons, Richard (Gayle) Noel of Columbiana and Jay (Lynn) Noel of New Palestine, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Evalyn Morris and a brother, George Schmidt, both of East Fairfield; four grandchildren, Mrs. Shawn (Kristi) Ebben of Columbiana, Kara Noel of Columbus, Jason (Ashley) Noel of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ryan Noel of New Palestine, Indiana; and a great granddaughter, Natalie Noel of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitchael Hennessey and the Rev. Charles Ready officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Warrick Kummer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church..

Memorial contributions may be made to the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.
