Ida Elizabeth Engberg

Columbiana July 12, 2006 -Ida Elizabeth Engberg, age 91, of 38 Northwest Street died at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Elizabeth Health Center.

She was born July 8, 1915 in Fairfield Township, daughter of John L. and Ola DeRhodes Ward. She had lived in Columbiana all life and worked as a secretary for Adin Kaufman.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Columbiana chapter.

Her husband, William Howard Engberg Sr. whom she married June 10, 1950; a daughter, Mrs. John (Alice) Schmitt of Munroe Falls; a son, William Engberg Jr. of Woodhaven, MI; two brothers John and Fred Ward of Columbiana; as well as, four grandchildren survive her.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Reverend Steven K. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.
