Hubert I. Holtzman

East Palestine January 1, 2007 -Hubert Israel Holtzman, age 77, of 483 East Taggart Street died at 9:10 p.m. Monday in the Akron Children's Hospital.

He was born Sept. 9, 1929 in New Cumberland WV, son of Hubert and Melissa Nesselroad Holtzman.

He had lived in East Palestine since 1953 coming from New Waterford.

He had been an industrial electrician for Babcock and Wilcox in Beaver Falls for 30 years.

He was preceded in death December 14, 1993 by his wife, Dorothy Mason whom he married December 31, 1953.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Deborah) Duncan of Columbiana and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Stevens and Mary Alice McCoy and a brother, Alfred Scott Holtzman.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Reverend Barry Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 11 until the time of service at the funeral home.
