Howard T. Fitzsimmons

New Waterford - Howard T. Fitzsimmons, 64, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Hospice House in Poland.

Mr. Fitzsimmons was born January 8, 1949 in Salem a son of the late Francis and Ruth Lehr Fitzsimmons and lived in the are most of his life.

He had most recently been self employed as an expediter for Tri-State Expediting and previous to that was in business administration and management for many years. Bud was an avid high school and college football fan and was passionate about his golf.

He is survived by his wife, the former Neoma Jean Sherrill, whom he married November 9, 1979; two sons, Jason T. (Jennifer) Fitzsimmons of Fairfield Township and Warren Andrews, III of East Palestine; four daughters, Abby (Eric) Gustafson of Lowellville, Christine Pierce and Janet Andrews both of Columbiana, and Patricia (John) Cresanto of East Palestine; a sister, Betty Shingleton of Belpre; nine grandchildren, Gracie Fitzsimmons, Hannah Pierce, Tech Sgt. Anthony (Amanda) Cresanto, Ashley Cresanto, Allison Cresanto, Michael Baun, Matthew Bable, Angela (Joe) Sickelsmith, and Mathew Byrd; and four great grandchildren..

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Reverend Jenna Brown officiating. Burial will follow Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
