Salem, May 31, 2004, Henry A. Fink, age 78, of 2083 Edgewood Drive, died at 2:20 a.m. Monday at Essex of Salem III following a short illness.
Mr. Fink was born September 19, 1925 in Cleveland, a son of Henry A. Fink and Bessie C. Snyder Molnar and had lived in this area most of his life. He served with the US Army during WW II in Germany. He graduated from Youngstown College with a degree in Engineering. He had been employed as a design engineer at Electric Furnace in Salem, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, the Professional Engineers Association, the Italian American Club of Leetonia and York Drexler Post #5532 VFW of Washingtonville.
He is survived by his wife, the former Donna M. Mango, whom he married July 26, 1957; two daughters, Dawn Radosta of Alpharetta, GA and Geralyn Schehl of Boyne City, MI; a son, Henry A. Fink, Jr. of Salem; six grandchildren, DeEllen McFarland, Debbie Fuson, and Rachel Fink, all of Salem; Michael Schehl of Boyne City, MI, Amanda Radosta and Nicholas Radosta, both of Alpharetta, GA; and four great grandchildren, Nathan McFarland, Alex McFarland, Zachary Sigler, and Victoria Flickinger, all of Salem.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, with the Reverend Edward Brienz, of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
