Helen E. Lewis

Leetonia - Helen E. Lewis, 85, died on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Lewis was born August 24, 1930 in Salem, a daughter of the late Frank I. and Stella Peppel Sitler and had lived in this area all of her life.

She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse and OR technician at the Salem Community Hospital. She had also owned and operated Lewis Chevrolet and Buick for 16 years following the death of her husband, William G. "Cappy" Lewis in 1997.

Mrs. Lewis was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jacques Taylor and a sister, Dorothy Finnicum.

She is survived by a niece, Hazel Kincaid Martin of Carrollton; a great niece and two great nephews.
