Leetonia- Helen M. Fahndrick, age 90, of Leetonia, died on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana.

She was born on March 23, 1924, in Leetonia, the daughter of the late Roy D. and Emma Troeger Fahndrick.

A lifelong area resident, Helen graduated from the former Fairfield Local High School and worked for fifteen years in the schools office. She also worked at the former Columbiana Pump Company in the payroll department where she retired in 1982.

Helen was a member of Columbiana Baptist Church and a past member of AARP, and RSVP.

Helen will best be remembered for her pleasant personality and her selfless manor. She loved helping others, always put their needs before her own.

She is survived by two nieces, Karen Gratz of Leetonia and Nancy (Richard) Tirpak of Columbiana; two great nieces, Michelle (Chris) Wiff of Leetonia and Meredith Tirpak of Columbiana and a great nephew, Andrew Tirpak of Columbiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Bud" Nunamaker, her brother, William R. Fahndrick, a niece, Jane Mayer and a nephew, Kenneth Gratz.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Goff officiating.

Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Columbiana Baptist Church, 44420 Heck Rd., Columbiana, OH 44408.
