Hazel J. Shepherd
Boardman, OH-February 5, 2004-Hazel J. Shepherd, age 83, of Boardman died at 10:30 a.m. at her home following a long illness.
Mrs. Shepherd was born February 26, 1920 in Marrion Township, PA, a daughter of Roy A. and Margaret Powell Shanor and had lived in the area since 2000 coming from Texas.
She was the owner operator of a salvage store in Wills Point, Texas.
Her husband, Ronald L. Shepherd whom she married January 21, 1955 died June 8, 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Anita) Giambattista of Boardman; three sons, Robert Dutch of Atlanta, TX, Leonard (Donna) Shepherd of Niles and Gary (Pam) Shepherd of Atlanta, TX; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Wilhelm of East Palestine; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Brian.
Graveside services were held Friday at the Columbiana Cemetery Chapel with Reverend David Conrad officiating.
Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana was in charge of arrangements.
