Rogers - March 3, 2006 -Hazel Irene Pike, age 91, of Sprucevale Road died at 2:45 a.m. Friday at The Vista Center, Lisbon.

Mrs. Pike was born May 28, 1914 in Lisbon, a daughter of Clyde and Eva Crawford Armstrong and lived here 59 years, coming from Lisbon.

She had been the Post Mistress for United States Postal Service in Rogers for 25 years, retiring January 8, 1981. She was a member of the Rogers United Methodist Church and the Friendship Circle of the church where she served as treasurer. She had been a 50 year member of the East Palestine Chapter #381 OES of East Palestine.

Her husband, Manuel G. Pike whom she married May 26, 1934, preceded her in death November 26, 1984.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Moore of New Waterford; a son, James (Amanda) Pike of Lisbon; six grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jack A. Pike on December 19 1967; two sisters, Jean Armstrong and Evelyn Clapsaddle, and a granddaughter, Lorie Hawkins on September 11 2003.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Rogers United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Murtha and Pastor Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. East Palestine Chapter will conduct Eastern Star services at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Rogers United Methodist Church.
