Hazel Elizabeth Andrews

New Waterford February 2, 2006 -Hazel Elizabeth Andrews, age 85, of South State Street died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday in the Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.

She was born May 24, 1920 in Enon Valley PA, daughter of Charles Perry and Alda Mae Bird May.

Mrs. Andrews had lived in New Waterford for the last year, coming from East Palestine where she had lived for 40 years.

She had been a member of the East Palestine Church of Nazarene.

Her husband, Warren Andrews whom she married February 3, 1983, preceded her in death September 26, 2003.

She is survived by three sons George Metze of Rogers, Jerry Metze of New Waterford, and Thomas Metze of North Lima; two stepsons Ralph Andrews of East Palestine and John Andrews of Negley; and a sister Mrs. Stella Keck of Columbiana; five grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson Warren Andrews; three sisters Florence Kliner, Anna Dyke, and Alma Coffee; and three brothers Floyd, Leonard, and William May.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Brian Brown officiating.
