Harry H. Neiheisel, Jr
Columbiana- Harry H. Neiheisel, Jr., 92, formerly of Leetonia, passed away at 10:35 am Friday, October 30, 2015 at Parkside Health Care Center.
Mr. Neiheisel was born, February 16, 1923 in East Palestine, a son of Harry H. and Helen Ketchum Neiheisel, Sr. and had lived in this area all of his life.
Harry was a certified welder for the Kaiser Refractories in Columbiana retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and served in the US Army during World War II.
His wife, the former Mary A. Bodnark, whom he married June 25, 1946, died August 4, 2011.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Willard) Lutz of Leetonia; two sons, David (Mary Ann) Neiheisel, Sr. of Columbiana and James (Pat) Neiheisel of Leetonia; a brother, Thomas (Sally) Neiheisel of Rogers; six grandchildren, Michael (Sherri) Lutz, Mark (Beth) Lutz, Eric (Erica) Neiheisel, David Neiheisel, Jr., Joshua Neiheisel and Jacob (Kelly) Neiheisel; six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Doris Witschger and a brother, John Neiheisel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia with the Reverend Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
