Harold Frank

East Palestine, OH-June 7, 2005-Harold W. "Zack" Frank, age 73, of 5441 Latta Road died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home following a short illness.

Mr. Frank was born October 29, 1931 in Darlington, PA a son of the late John and Harriett Stanley Frank and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was a truck driver for several years retiring in 1998. He served with the US Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Jane Durk, whom he married August 17, 1974; a daughter, Janice Davis of Youngstown; two step daughters, Mrs. Terry (Debora) Roe of South Shore, KY and Brenda Shumar of Brownsville, PA; two step sons, Sonny (Shar) Woods and Randy Woods of Petersburg; six sisters, Betty Jane Frum of Wampum, PA, Mrs. Lee (Carol) Watkins, Barb Smith, Mrs. Raymond (Marge) Lindsay, Mrs. Marvin (Linda) Ash all of East Palestine and Mrs. Morris (Peg) Ash of Rogers; four brothers, Ed Frank of Enon Valley, PA, Clyde (Joan) Frank of Beckley, WV, Daryle (Nancy) Frank of Salineville and Lonzo (Carol) Frank of Rogers; a brother-in-law, Glenn Frum of Enon Valley, PA ;twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A son, William "Bill" Frank and a sister, Auretta Chaplow are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with the Reverend Brian Hassel officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
