Washingtonville - November 3, 2005 - Greta M. Sobotka, 82, of 455 West Main Street, died Thursday at her home.

Mrs. Sobotka was born July 12, 1923 in Dungannon, a daughter of Lawrence and Lottie Kridler Lederle and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Robbins Memorial United Methodist Church.

Her husband, John Sobotka, Jr. whom she married February 14, 1948 died August 9, 1987.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Barbara) Sobotka of Salem and Rick Sobotka of Washingtonville and a grandson, Graham Sobotka of Salem.

Two sisters, Catherine Howard and Twila Rohrer and three brothers, Harry Lederle, Walter Lederle, and Glen Lederle are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday.

If friends desire, material tributes may take the form of a donation to either the Robbins Memorial United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Project HELLO % Salem Community Hospital.
