Grace E. Veazey

Negley, OH-August 12, 2005-Grace E. Veazey, age 83, formerly of Negley died at 3:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana.

Mrs. Veazey was born January 10, 1922 in Wilmerding, PA, a daughter of Emanuel and Lula Mae Evans Allshouse and had lived in this area since 1970 coming from Brownsville, PA.

She was a homemaker. Her first husband, George H. Gage whom she married June 28, 1940 died June 24, 1956. Her second husband, Roy J. Veazey whom she married September 25, 1956 died February 5, 1992.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Patty) Giambrone of Darlington, PA, Shirley Beaver of East Liverpool, Mrs. Richard (Sally) Cann of England and Grace Felton of Vero Beach, FL; two sons, James Gage of Chester, WVA and Emanuel Gage of Vero Beach, FL; three sisters, Violet Bittner of Brownsville, PA, Laura Geyer of East Pittsburgh, PA and Gladys Gilmore of Lisbon; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, Carl, Howard and George Gage and four brothers.

There are no services. Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine was in charge of arrangements.
