Grace Wilma Merreot

Columbiana, OH – Private burial was held Friday, December 11, 2015 in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rogers, for Grace Wilma Merreot, 87, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Columbiana, who died Friday, December 4, 2015 in Jensen Beach, FL.

Mrs. Merreot was born August 3, 1928 in New Waterford, OH, a daughter of the late Curtis F. and Esther Crook Hively. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area most of her life until moving to Florida five years ago.

Her husband, Lamonte C. Merreot, whom she married July 2, 1948 died May 14, 2003.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn (Frank) DeVico of Stuart, FL and Cynthia (Michael) Glonek of Andover, OH; four sisters, Greta Berger Miller and Marilyn Whiting, both of New Wilmington, PA, and Jean Longbottom and Carolyn Witmer, both of Columbiana, OH; two brothers, John Hively and Roy Hively, both of New Waterford, OH; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Tomlinson.
