Grace Grimm

Leetonia, OH-Grace Grimm, 84, of Butcher Road, Leetonia, died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Grimm was born May 26, 1926 in Hancock County, WV, a daughter of Charles and Goldie Swisher Pelley and had lived in this area most of her life.

Grace worked as a clerk for the former Virian Bakery in Leetonia and then for Ben Franklin store in Columbiana for over 25 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Columbiana and was involved in the Columbiana Christian Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband William W. Grimm, Sr. whom she married August 14, 1948; a daughter, Sharon Grimm of Leetonia; a son, William W. (Bonnie) Grimm, Jr. of Leetonia; a sister, Barbara (Donald) Foster of East Liverpool; a brother, Donald (Kay) Pelley of Evans, CO; four granddaughters, Virginia (Michael) Phillips, Ericka (Jeremy) Campf, Katherine (Steve) Ronshausen and Lillian (Joseph Pahanish) Kuhlman; and three great grandchildren, Trey Phillips, Emma Phillips and William Pahanish.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Garnet Stillwell and two brothers, Paul Pelley and Charles Edward Pelley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Church of the Nazarene, Columbiana with Reverend Jan Winnale officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may be made to Hospice of the Valley or The Missionary Society of the Church of the Nazarene Columbiana.
