Grace L. Dawson

Great Falls, Montana - Grace L. Dawson, 86, of Great Falls, formerly of Negley and East Palestine, died November 26, 2011 of natural causes.

Grace was born February 19, 1925 in Enon Valley, PA, a daughter of Sydney and Hazel Booth. The family later moved to Negley, OH where she grew up, graduating from East Palestine High School. She attended Salem Business College in Salem.

On December 15, 1944, she married Robert Walter Dawson, U.S. Naval Air Corps, Lisbon, OH. He passed away in October of 1997. She was a member of Great Falls Salvation Army Auxiliary and the Great Falls Quilt Guild.

Grace is survived by five sons, Wayne Robert (Kathy) Dawson of Big Spring, TX, Rev. Gregg Winston (Karen) Dawson of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dr. Paul Richard (Cathy) Dawson of Ithaca, NY, Walter Sydney (Julie) Dawson of Maple Valley, Washington, and Dr. John Mems (Karen) Dawson of Chaska, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Calling hours and funeral services were held in Great Falls. Local graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers, with the Reverend John Weldon officiating.
