Glenn A. Rauch

Avon, IN - Glenn A. Rauch, 91, of Avon, formerly of Columbiana, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Rauch was born August 2, 1921 in Petersburg, OH, a son of the late John L. and Ruth M. Kachner Rauch. He served in the South Pacific in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed as a supervisor for Carrier Corporation for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl M. Wentz, whom he married January 10, 1946; four daughters, Linda (Robert) Holt of Stilwell, Kansas, Deborah (Bobby) Flowers, of Avon, IN, Pamela (Fred) Taylor of Avon, IN, and Glenda (John) Greene of Lebanon, IN; a sister, Jean Miller of Bakersfield, CA; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Rauch and four brothers, George, Robert, Lloyd, and Wilbur Rauch.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, OH.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Hope United Presbyterian Church, Plainfield, IN.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, OH.
