East Palestine, Feb. 1, 2004, C. Glenn Hostetter, age 87, of 47864 Brushville Road, died Sunday afternoon at the Sunbelt Nursing Home, Zephyr Hills, Florida.
Mr. Hostetter was born April 18, 1916 in Beaver, PA, a son of Charles M. and Goldie J. Gaily Hostetter and had lived in this area all of his life.
He was a self employed farmer since 1935 and was a member of the First Church of Christ, East Palestine.
He is survived by his wife, the former Anna M. Krachko, whom he married June 7, 1969; three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Donis) Kincade of Columbiana, Mrs. Betty Frederick of East Palestine, and Mrs. Gloria Gernert of Columbiana; two sons, Charles C. Hostetter of King, NC and Eugene G. Hostetter of Columbiana; two step daughters, Mrs. William (Norma) James of Greer, SC and Mrs. Charles (Martha) Jones of Lisbon; a stepson, Mel Nenadic of Columbiana; a brother, Fred G. Hostetter of Wakeman, OH; 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A stepson, Myron Nenadic; two sisters, Helen M. Tice and Ola Hostetter; and two brothers, Donald and Wayne Hostetter are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Mr. Robert J. Helbeck, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in New Waterford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday.
