Glenn R. Hinten

Leetonia - November 12, 2006 - Glenn R. Hinten, age 73, of 20 Woods Blvd., died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday at the Salem Community Hospital.

Mr. Hinten was born January 31, 1933 in East Liverpool, a son of the late Donald and Olive Morris Hinten. He had returned to Leetonia in February 2006 from Georgetown, GA where he had resided ten years. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had been employed as an assembler and electrician at the former NRM Company in Columbiana for 23 years. He had also owned and operated Hinten Parts Service for many years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Betty L. Wilkinson, whom he married April 1, 1956; a son, Alan (Diane) Hinten of Leetonia; a grandson, Michael (Kathryn) Hinten of Alliance; and a great grandson, Wesley Alan Hinten.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Washingtonville.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
