Leetonia, OH-March 26, 2007-Glenn D. Hall, age 91, of 40515 Fork Road died at 3:15 p.m. Monday at Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Hall was born May 15, 1915 in Leetonia, OH, a son of James L. and Elmira Davis Hall, Sr. and had lived in this area all of his life.
Glenn was the owner of Hall's Dairy in Leetonia and operated the dairy for 30 years. He also worked security for NRM and Columbiana Boiler retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia, a 50 year member of the Salem Saxon Club Branch 19 and a charter member of the Salem Saxon Retirees. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Roth, whom he married July 24, 1939; a daughter, Patricia Patterson of Leetonia; two sons, Richard G. (Charlene) Hall of Leetonia and Ronald L. (Barbara) Hall of Columbiana; a brother, James L. (Eileen) Hall, Jr. of Leetonia; five grandchildren, Christopher (Rhonda) Hall, Kevin (Jill) Hall, Stephanie (Brian) Raneri, Brenda (Robert) Foor and Jeanne Patterson; and nine great grandchildren, Dustin Cole, Jacob and Lily Hall, Jessica, Tyler and Allison Hall, Robbie Adcock, Anna Foor and Nick Raneri.
Two sisters, Pearl Bodendorfer and Susan Novak, a brother, Clyde "Ted" Hall and a granddaughter, Beth Hall preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia and one hour prior to the services Friday at the church.
