Gerald "Jerry" Timmann

Columbiana - Gerald "Jerry" Timmann, age 76, of Columbiana, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hospice House, Poland.

He was born on September 11, 1948, in East Orange, NJ, the son of the late Marilyn Harding Timmann.

Jerry was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Point Man Ministries in Leetonia.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War and had worked as a Veterans Representative for 26 years before retiring in 2008.  Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting, but he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren most of all.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Kale Timmann, whom he married on October 15, 1997; Children, Michelle (Dana Ortutay) Timmann of Salem, Jerry Timmann of Salem, David (Ashleay Badamy) Barker of Columbiana, and Rebecca (Donovan) Howell of Columbiana; two sisters, Susan Snook, and Carolyn Hanville; several grandchildren, including four special grandchildren, Kolton, Emma, Mia, and Lauren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 29 Spruce St., Leetonia, OH 44431.

Services will be held on Sunday, at the church, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
