Gerald "Gerry" Less, Sr.

Gerald "Gerry" Less, Sr., age 75, formerly of Leetonia, died on Friday, May 8, 2026, at his home in Salem.

Gerry was born on March 28, 1951, in Salem, OH, son of the late Joseph and Mildred Bair Less.

He was raised on his family farm and worked as a farmer. He later owned and operated Less Farm Market with his brother, Fred. He also worked at Witmer’s Inc. as Parts Manager. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of Salem Fruit Growers Association of Ohio and participated in various activities at the Canfield Fair. He also served as a School Board Member in Leetonia. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Gerry is survived by his wife, Susan “Suzi” Trenkelbach Less whom he married December 14, 1990; his children, Angie Codrington Gerald “Bud” Less, Jr., Maggie Tyson, Ted Less, Maggie Less and Jacob Less; two sisters, Mary Kehres, Bonnie (Dwight) Smith; four brothers, Anthony (Leanne) Less, Joseph (Marianne) Less, James Less, Richard M. (Jackie) Less; two grandchildren, Tasia Less and Ariya Anstine; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Less and a sister, Patricia Driscoll.

Honoring his request, no services are being held at this time.
