George E. Dotson, Jr

Salem - May 2, 2009 - George E. Dotson, Jr., 39, of 385 West Pershing Avenue, formerly of Washingtonville, died Saturday morning at the Salem Community Hospital.

Mr. Dotson was born November 18, 1969 in Salem, a son of George E. Dotson, Sr. and Edna McLaughlin Kellner and had lived in this area all of his life.

He had been employed as a laborer of 21st Century Company and attended Abundant Life Fellowship in New Waterford.

He is survived by his mother of Columbiana; his father of Scio, OH; a daughter, Samantha (Dotson) Ferguson of Rogers; and a step daughter, Chelsea McGuire of Salem; two aunts, Evelyn Stockman of Chillicothe, OH and Marge Cole of Columbiana; two uncles, Bob McLaughlin of Columbiana and Andy McLaughlin of Greenford; and several cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Abundant Life Fellowship with Pastor Jeff Schoch and the Reverend John Bartholomew officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
