Gaye L. Raneri

Salem, OH-April 5, 2012-Gaye L. Raneri, 65, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday at Essex III of Salem. Gaye was born April 21, 1946 in Salem, a daughter of Richard and Sue Martino Raneri and had lived in this area all of her life.

Gaye worked in the housekeeping department of Salem Community Hospital for 10 years retiring in 1989. She had also worked for the former Dan Dee Chip Plant in Leetonia. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She loved the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians.

Gaye is survived by a brother, Louis (Diane) Raneri; a sister, Joanne (David) Dailey of Salem; a sister-in-law, Paula Raneri of Salem; three nieces, a nephew and four great nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Salvatore Raneri.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Reverend Robert Edwards and Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
