Gail L. Labas
Boulder City, Nevada - Gail L. Labas, 75, of Boulder City, formerly of Columbiana, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at her home following a short illness.
Mrs. Labas was born April 14, 1936 in Salem, a daughter of Homer and Catherine Ross Mellinger and had lived in Nevada for 17 years, coming from Columbiana.
She had been employed as a weighmaster/bookkeeper for R & R Coal Company, Kensington and had formerly been a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelley of Boulder City, Nevada and Chris of Pahrump, Nevada; a son, John of Orange Park, FL; a brother, Robert Tullis of Columbiana; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana, with the Reverend Dan Cipar officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
