G. Arthur Sanders
New Waterford - December 25, 2009 - G. Arthur Sanders, 90, formerly of McCloskey Road, died at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Greenbriar Healthcare Center, Boardman.
Mr. Sanders was born May 7, 1919 in New Waterford, a son of Solon Rothwell and Grace Bell Scoville Sanders and had lived in the area all of his life. He was a self-employed dairy farmer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marie May Hall and a sister, Grace Lucille Winters.
He is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Kevin) Cope of New Waterford.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor James Cook officiating.
Burial will follow in New Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
