Freida A. Davis

Leetonia - April 29, 2006 - Freida A. Davis, age 66, of 37888 Old SR 344, died Saturday at 3:11 p.m. at the Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Davis was born February 12, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Metta Williams and had lived here since 1985, coming from Canfield.

She had been employed as restaurant manager at F. W. Woolworth, Boardman for several years.

Her husband, Jack D. Davis, whom she married July 2, 1955 died December 5, 1995.

She is survived by her mother, Metta Griffiths of Leetonia; a daughter, Deborah J. Davis of Leetonia; a son, Jack L. Davis of Winter Haven, FL; and one grandchild.

A daughter, Annette Davis is also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Square Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
