Frederic L. Fish

Columbiana-February 14, 2009-Frederic L. Fish, 61, of 1229 Columbiana Lisbon Road died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Community Hospital following a 13 month battle with cancer.

Mr. Fish was born January 9, 1948 in Youngstown, a son of Daniel and Evelyn Price Fish and had lived in Columbiana the past five years coming from Austintown.

Fred had worked in the maintenance department for Walmart in Salem and had also worked for Eat N Park in Austintown.

Fred served seven years active duty in the US Army including two years in Vietnam and then 15 years in the Ohio National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, the former Christine DiPanfilo whom he married March 21, 1980.

There are no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
