Freda L. Mccoy

Lisbon, OH-July 3, 2012-Freda L. McCoy, 79, of Steubenville Pike Road died Tuesday morning at her home.

Mrs. McCoy was born January 7, 1933 in Wellsville, a daughter of William and Mabel Householder Rockenhauser and had lived in this area all of her life.

She worked for Canfield Industry for several years. She had also worked for the former A&P in Salem and the former Pine Tree Inn in Lisbon.

Her husband, Richard E. McCoy, whom she married August 1, 1953, died August 26, 2010.

She is survived by four daughters, Donna (Theodore) Babinka of Mercer, PA, Patty (James) Garwood of Leetonia, Pam (Allan) Moore of Lisbon and Ruth (Christopher) Byers of Salem; four sons, Richard McCoy, Paul (Theresa) McCoy of Negley, Ron (Ellen) McCoy of East Liverpool and Michael (Lisa) McCoy of Lisbon; four brothers, Henry (Pat) Rockenhauser of Kinston, NC, William Rockenhauser of Guilford Lake, Frederick (Lonna) Rockenhauser of East Liverpool and Pete Rockenhauser of Salineville; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
