Leetonia, OH - February 26, 2005- Frank Joseph Dominic, 82, of 171 Chestnut Street died Saturday at his home.

Mr. Dominic was born March 16, 1922 in Leetonia, OH a son of Thomas and Maria Salvino Dominic and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was a police officer with the Leetonia Police Department for 25 years retiring in 1987. He was also a bus driver for the Leetonia Schools for 34 years and owned and operated the Leetonia Sohio Station for 25 years and the Leetonia Radio and TV Service for 30 years.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

His wife, the former Wanda Jean Digman, whom he married July 30, 1951, died August 12, 2000. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Julie) Macuich of Hanoverton; a son, John M. (Catherine) Dominic of Leetonia; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Ellis of Marysville, WA; two brothers, Fred and Anthony (Stella) Dominic, both of Salem; and three grandchildren.

A sister is also deceased.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with his nephew, the Reverend David Weikart officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
