Columbiana, OH-May 18, 2005-Frances Mildred Harmon, age 95, formerly of Pittsburgh Street, Columbiana died at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday at the Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.
Mrs. Harmon was born February 20, 1910 in Leetonia, a daughter of Anthony and Mary O'Brien Gavin and had lived in the area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana.
Her husband, Raymond Harmon, whom she married October 10, 1933, died October 21, 1963.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Shirley Harmon of North Lima; three sons, Raymond and Eugene Harmon of Erick, OK and Wayne Harmon of New Waterford; a sister, Mrs. Emiline Lawrence of Akron; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Three daughters, Twila Harmon, Cecilia Barnhart and Norma Roberts; three sisters, Agnes Metcalf, Florence Gavin and Tressa Gavin; and four brothers, Edwin, John, Bryan, and Hubert Gavin are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Leetonia with Reverend Edward Brienz officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia is in charge of arrangements.
