East Palestine, Oh - November 20, 2006 - Frances E. Braden, age 100, of Grapevine, Texas, formerly of East Palestine, died Monday at the Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mrs. Braden was born October 30, 1906 in Enon Valley, PA, a daughter of William G. and Margaret Barker Inboden and had lived in Texas since 1988, coming from Bradenton, FL and East Palestine, OH.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Enon Valley Presbyterian Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir.
Her first husband, Harry H. Hartford, whom she married June 24, 1936 died February 17, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Clifford Braden; a son, William Thomas Hartford; and two sisters, Louise Rowland and Florence Bryant.
She is survived by a son, David J. Hartford of Grapevine, TX; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, with the Reverend Richard Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery.
