Fay Iverne Mcclurkin

Columbiana April 5, 2007 -Fay Iverne McClurkin, age 74, of 1940 Lower Elkton Road died at 5:00 a.m. Thursday in the Salem Community Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1933 in New Springfield, daughter of H. Dale and Mary Florence Rupert Hoffman.

Mrs. McClurkin had been a Secretary-Clerk for the former Republic Steel Company in Youngstown, retiring in 1982.

A member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Springfield all of her life, she moved from Youngstown to Columbiana in 1986.

Her first husband, Randall H. Ruhlman, whom she married August 7, 1971, died February 12, 1974 and her second husband, James W. McClurkin, whom she married October 28, 1982, died January 5, 1986.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elmon (Anna Margaret) Smith of Columbiana and Mrs. Paul (Carol) Kennedy of Holden, MA.

The Rev. Robert Brigham and the Rev Paul Kennedy will officiate at her funeral service, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Entombment will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

Fay requested that memorial contributions be made to Memorial fund of the church.
