F. Arlene Timmins

Darlington, PA - F. Arlene Timmins, 81, of Darlington, PA, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home.

She was born May 30, 1936 in East Palestine, OH, a daughter of the late Clayton and Florence Green Dyke.

Arlene was a homemaker for most of her life until she began working at Vittle Village in Unity, where she was well known for her pepperoni rolls. She loved her sons dog, GG and enjoyed playing the slot machines at casinos. Arlene loved her family and she cared for her parents late into life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Timmins, on April 22, 1983, whom she married April 17, 1959.

Arlene is survived by four sons, Robert T. Timmins of Columbiana, OH, Scott (Susie) Timmins of Darlington, Randy (Janice) Timmins of East Liverpool, OH, and Thad (Bea Reed) Timmins of Darlington; a sister, Carol (Lee) Smith of Beaver Creek, OH; a brother, Lee (Kathy) Dyke of East Palestine, OH; three granddaughters, Lindsey, Miranda and Morgan Timmins; a grandson, Robert D. Timmins; a great grandson, Carson Timmins; three nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Ed Justison, a granddaughter Trisha Timmins and a grandson Matthew Timmins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.

Friends and family may call from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Burial will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Meridian Masonic Lodge, Enon Valley, immediately following burial.
