Everett C. Stevens

Ocoee, FL - February 12, 2005 - Everett C. Stevens, 96, of 80 North Clarke Road, formerly of Elm Street, Leetonia, OH died at 1:40 a.m. Saturday at Summerville at Ocoee following a long illness.

Mr. Stevens was born May 25, 1908 in Suffield, CT, a son of Herbert B. and Helen M. Cordes Stevens and had lived in the Ocoee-Winter Garden area for several years. He had also lived in Leetonia, Ohio. He had been employed as a toolmaker for Tippett Inc. in Chicopee, MA.

His first wife, Anne Sheckler Stevens died September 30, 1981. He is survived by his wife, Coral Call Edgar Stevens whom he married May 4, 1985; a sister, Helen Brennan of East Long Meadow, MA; sister in laws, Lillian Stevens, of Suffield, CN, Mary Call of Defiance, OH, and Mrs. Wallace (Nedra Jean) Rettig of Leetonia, OH; several nieces and nephews including Gail Demastus of Ocoee, FL; three step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.

A sister, Ethel A. Bracewell and a brother, Howard Stevens are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 at the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Ocoee, FL with Pastor Walter Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorium in Gotha, FL. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-12 noon on Tuesday.
